NEC Display Solutions of America, a leading provider of commercial LCD display and projector solutions, announced today that NEC Partner Net was named a CRN Magazine Five-Star Partner Program for 2017. A notable distinction among elite vendors, the recognition marks the seventh consecutive year that NEC received a Five-Star rating in CRN's Partner Program Guide, a publication of the Channel Company.
This annual directory is the definitive listing of partner programs from technology vendors that provide products and services through the IT channel. The Five-Star Partner Program rating recognizes an elite subset of companies that offer solution providers the best partnering elements in their channel programs.
"We are proud to receive CRN's Five-Star rating in recognition of our commitment to the channel partner community," said Jennifer Cheh, Vice President of Marketing. "NEC Display Solutions will continue to offer programs that recognize and reward differentiation so that together with our partners, we can deliver innovative solutions to our customers."
To determine the 2017 Five-Star ratings, The Channel Company's research team assessed each vendor's partner program based on investments in program offerings, partner profitability, partner training, education and support, marketing programs and resources, sales support and communication.
Through its Partner Net community, NEC provides several reseller and end-user market-specific programs, like Star Student for education and formal registration for resellers. Benefits include awards, incentives, rebates, market development funds, co-branding initiatives, business-building opportunities, marketing and sales tools as well as "how to" guides.
"For solution providers, finding the right technology vendors to partner with is crucial to the health of their businesses, and the vast array of choices can be overwhelming," said Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company. "Our annual Partner Program Guide and Five-Star ratings help them narrow the field, identifying the most rewarding partner programs, and outlining their strengths and benefits."
